Re-Elect Cheryl Kross Alderman Ward 1

(The Wentzvillian has watched Alderman Cheryl Kross for the past four years, a more studied Alderman cannot be found on the Board. To a fault, she has been the most vigilant protector of tax-payer dollars seen here in years, maybe ever. We do not always see eye-to-eye on issues but she is absolutely responsive to her constituents, dedicating her time (and at times her personal resources) to the resolution of any citizen's concern. Cheryl Kross was a ray of sunshine to tax-payers when she was first elected four years ago to a gluttonous group of Aldermen and a Mayor who were hell-bent on destroying the finances of Wentzville. Today, there is no better candidate to represent Ward 1, The Wentzvillian believes that Alderman Cheryl Kross has earned the trust and respect of residents and deserves to continue her quest to put and keep Wentzville on a strong financial foundation. The Wentzvillian urges it's readers to re-elect Cheryl Kross for Alderman of Ward 1.)

(Alderman Cheryl Kross submitted her information to The Wentzvillian to be posted here unedited. After reviewing her opponent's lack of a good reason to oppose her and his affilliation with Mayor Nickolas Guccione, The Wentzvillian endorses Alderman Cheryl Kross in her re-election.)

  1. I've known Cheryl for over six months and have observed her in Wentzville meetings. She is an outstnding Alderwoman and City of Wentzville protector of the citizens, their rights, and serving in the best interests of the city. She does not pander to the political voice and will stand up to anyone who does not have a strong sense of ethics, morals, business conduct and business standards for the best interest of the City of Wentzville.
Your vote for Cheryl Kross is a vote for fiscal responsibility, honesty, integrity and sincere involvement to maintain the upward direction of the City of Wentzville.

    1. We haven't heard anything positive about Ms. Kross' opponent in the Alderman race in Ward 1. Hmmm, maybe that is because there is nothing good or worthwhile to say about Mr. Hussey and his supporters. Now that has to make voters think twice about him and his pushers and then decide to vote for Ms. Kross.

  4. Sorry, she won't get my vote this time. Each time I TRY to have a conversation with her about Wentzville items, she shows lack of knowledge. Someone who has been an aldermen for 4 years should know something but not the case. For that reason alone, her opponent has our family's vote. Ok, now I expect you to get your attach "dogs" all over me, but I usually side with you...NOT this time.

    1. Not everyone agrees and sometimes, as I stated, I don't either. No attack dogs, I promise.

    2. You probably deserve an attach dog for not approaching things well. I would sense that your TRYING is not working because you may be unclear about what you are asking or demanding a response without allowing the person the opportunity to clarify the question so an answer would be forthcoming. Sounds more like you need some help in communicating from 'Ms. Manners'.
I would not expect any alderwoman or alderman to be conversant about everything in the City. I would expect them to research the concern/issue and respond in a timely manner. The general way it's handled in the business world is to hear the issue, get back to the questioner within 24 hours with an answer or if not answerable still get back to them that question is not resolved yet but an answer will be forthcoming. There would be a daily response so the questioner would not think their concern was not ignored.
I believe something along these lines is what the city is trying to get implemented to bring customer service to a higher level.
