I've just received notice of a campaign kickoff for Darrel Lackey: Lackey running for Alderman of Ward 3 is a long time resident of Wentzville and a very active community-minded citizen. He is a financial advisor with an office here in Wentzville located in the Trinity Building and he is very informed regarding city politics. His record of public service is long having served more time on the Board of Aldermen than any incumbent, and coincidentally, he has spent more time as Mayor than our current mayor. All in all, he is the most qualified candidate in the upcoming April election.

I hope all of you within reach of The Wentzvillian come out to meet and talk with Darrel but more importantly, vote for him. We in Ward 3 will have been unrepresented for a year until the upcoming election in April when Darrel takes his seat on the Board of Aldermen, right next to you know who.
The Board of Alderman is spending more time talking and verballizing than making decisions about what is good for the City of Wentzville. Be productive with your time and the city will benefit. NIKE said it right "JUST DO IT"!
ReplyDeleteI've known Mayor Lackey for Many years. His time as Alderman and Mayor was great for the city and the citizens. There is no other man or woman in town more qualified to represent ward 3 than Darrel Lackey.
ReplyDeleteCurrently ward 3 residents are represented by Rick Stokes who is dedicated to ward 3 and those he represents. He is a strong Alderman and would be complimented by the addition of Darrel Lackey.
The other alderman (appointed) of ward 3 is Michael Hays a proven follower of the ultra-liberal Mayor. As a citizen of ward 3 I do not want another alderman like Nick Guiccione who followed every goofy idea for five years. Hays needs to be ousted in April and replaced with someone who knows how to lead.
